Tramadol is an analgesic that works in certain parts of the brain or nervous system to decrease the sensation of pain. This medication is usually used as treatment for moderate to severe levels of pain.

Usages
Directions for Intake:
- Tramadol is taken orally, as often as indicated in the prescription of your doctor
- Usually prescribed with a dosage of 50 to 100 milligrams to be taken every four to six hours
- Finish the entire amount that was prescribed even after beginning to feel better
- Take any missed dose as soon as it is remembered. However, do not double the dosage of your medication at any particular assigned time
- In case of overdosing, seek medical attention immediately
Directions for Storage:
- Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat
- The appropriate temperature for the storage area is between 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 15 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Also choose a storage area that is not easily accessible to children
Side Effects
- Mild side effects of using this medication include drowsiness and dizziness, tremor or shaking, headaches, irritability, sleeping problems, upset stomach, and nausea and vomiting
- Serious side effects include paralysis, extreme weakness, loss of coordination, seizure, loss of vision, and agitation or confusion
- Soma may cause an allergic reaction to some users

Precautions:
- Consult your doctor before taking Soma. Make sure to give your doctor a complete background of your medical history
- Inform your physician of any other prescription or over-the-counter medications that you’re currently taking, especially the following medications: vitamins, muscle-relaxants, sedatives, sleeping pills and treatment for allergies and coughs
- Inform your physician of any previous or present experience of having kidney or liver problems and diseases, allergy to carisoprodol, meprobamate, or any other medications
- This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Activities that require you to be alert (i.e. driving or operating heavy machineries) should be avoided
- If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Soma
- If you are lactating, it may be harmful to use Soma
